20 long, Mr. Frugal back to Reefing

Don't know if anyone is still tagging along but I found this crab hunting in the sandbed. I'm thinking stone crab so I removed him before he could hide. Any input?

Just some updates,

Purchased some coral from Jay

Here they are after being in the tank for about 5-10 minutes, I'll take more pictures when they open up all the way

The last picture is an update of the frogspawn, hard to get a good picture of it because it's moving so much with the current, but it seems to have gotten a little bigger

Here are the Duncan and Trumpet, they look very healthy

Notice I messed around with the Duncan in the first picture on Photoshop, just for fun

Thank you everyone for the input.

I was under the impression that whelks were a bad thing :l
Oh well there are plenty of them still in there

My Lights are in the US, so should be a few more days till they get here.

In the mean time I am looking for a little skimmer to put on the back of the tank or in the AC110. I figure it would certainly be a good investment. I was thinking of the "AquaticLife Internal Mini Skimmer 115". It seems to have good reviews and is relatively inexpensive. Anyone have any experience with these?

The hammer seems to have opened up fully today so I snapped a quick picture

Added the new lights today, I am worried it might be a little too much light

Doesn't look like too much to me, but pics can be deceiving especially under leds. Just go easy with the and watch for any signs of bleaching.

Lights are working well, I think its the right amount as everything seems to be doing well. Skimmer should be here next week then after that is up and running I will start looking at some fish

Just a quick update. Everything is doing really well, I am seeing a tremendous amount of growth. Set up my new skimmer and it is doing a great job so far. I really don't know how I reefed without it. I have some algae problems but not too bad, looking to get fish soon, maybe sometime next week

Here is a quick shot of the frogspawn just to see how much it has grown from the little baby it was when I picked it up

Few new additions this weekend. First of all I bought some turbos a week ago and they have reduced algae problems down to undetectable, so I am very happy with them. Also I started running some chemipure elite in the filter.

As for the additions, I went to FAOIS yesterday to take advantage of their 20% off Easter sale. I bought two small clown fish and a Kenya tree coral. Everything is doing really well, the clowns started eating the moment they were placed in the tank.

I am going to start looking for some torch coral soon

Almost 2 months now since I set the tank up. I am going to start photographing the corals to show how much they have grown. For now I have a better picture of the clowns and a giant gorilla crab I removed yesterday and a FTS
