I'm trying to plan a sump for my 20 Long. I have a few questions about how to proceed. here is an example of another 20 long that I found on a forum a while ago. I think I want to do the exact same system.
1) I'm trying to eyeball it here; does it look like the top of the overflow box is flush with the lip of the tank?
2) Why are there elbows on the intake's of the bulkhead? I thought I've heard something about this being
beneficial in some way...also is there a reason one is nearly turned upside down?
3) how do you know how long to make the teeth on the overflow? I assume longer teeth means more water flowing into the overflow? I have also heard of people not using teeth at all. Some were arguing that it was better.
Thanks!
