i was just at atlantis aquarium today in northern CA and they wanted 60 bucks for about 15 heads of those blues

I think hexedagain is pulling my leg. Does that really sound like a good deal. I've never paid more the $20 for any of my corals except for a couple of maricultured pieces I picked up a few weeks ago.

Every frag of SPS, LSP or Zoa has grown like a weed in my tank.

Really, I think I'm looking for someone to justify buying that coral.

Still thinking I'm pulling your leg?

well in BC all our LFS are expensive, especiall on vancouver island where i live, i have never seen a true blue zoa for sale here, the kind of bluish/brownish ones (or ANYTHING with ANY color on it other than just brown is $80+ for small peices). so for my area i wouldnt have thought twice, that puppy would have been out of the store as soon as it was for sale at 3X that price

I saw a colony smaller than that at one of mine today, just run of the mill brown/green zoa's, for $80.

You guys convinced me.

I picked them up Thursday. They are going to be spending about a month in my 20 long QT.

The colony is really healthy and 99% open.

There are two 5+ polyp frags ready to be tugged off and put on plugs. Since these should grow really fast, I may make a few more frags.

I've got them under 175W 20K MH with a really bad reflector and they are looking good. Brown skirts with blue centers. They may have a lighter color ring when colored up.

I can't wait to get them in my display and let them show their true colors.

I'll post some pictures when I can figure out how to get a few decent shots with my bad camera.
