i have 2 tide pool sumps, in sump 1 i have a rio 3100 for the return and runs my fluidized bed filter, also in same sump i have a 1700 rio pushing water in my 36x uv sterolizer.
then in sump2 i have a 2500 rio for return and a natulis skimmer with is own pump. just seems like a have alot of pumps and i think my turnover rate is too low. other problem is the water level in one sump always is heigher then the other when the water evaporates. i do have a bulkhead connecting both sumps.
should i get rid of one sump and hook up a wetdry and use 1 tide pool and use it as a refugium. or should i kep my setup now and buy one larg pump to use for both returns.

i have a 200 gallon aggriseve tank setup and all my levels are good.

Do you have the bio-wheels set-up in the tidepools? I really don't see the need for them if you do because you have a fluizied bed filter. You could try and set-up a refugium. If it were I'd build one big sump from a bare fish tank and silicon in plexiglass baffles.

i do have a bio balls in them but they dont always turn depending on the water level. they are a pain. thats why i hooked up the fluidized bed filter. i just want to elimnate so many pumps. i have the wetdry filter i am not useing. didnt know if it would be better to use that and 1 tidepool, or keep both tidepools and get 1 large pump for the returns. external [pump

why dont you use the 90 gal tank you have and use it as refugium and use 1 return pump or you could give me the 200 and i will fix it
