I've started working on the 2007 COMAS POTM Calendar and I need something from the winners of this years contests.
As I have mentioned throughout this year, in order for pics to print out nicely scaled to the size of a full page, I need pretty high resolution pictures. A minimum for this would be about 300 DPI. That translates into something approximate 2100 x 3000 in size.
(Yep, that big....)
So here is how this is going to work. We will have 2 types of pictures pages for the calendar.
The first will be when I have a nice big resolution copy of the photo that won for a particular month. This was the idea in the first place. The second will be when we DO NOT have that big resolution picture. In those instances, I will create pretty little collage pages with a combination of the winner's and other pics chosen from the rest of the year.
Winners - the choice is yours. You guys have between now and the end of the month to get in higher resolution versions of your winner pics. I am going to begin work on the calendar now, preparing collage pages as necessary. And if by the end of the month you have not gotten big versions to me, then I will use what I have and you'll get a college page. Basically, send me the biggest version of a photo that you can.

Also note that some crappy email services (read: hotmail at least) will resize pics when you send them to me. So when you send me your pics, also send a note about what resolution you believe the picture should be.
