I am also looking for volunteers to help out at the swap. Feel free to volunteer your friends and significant others who are coming along, but are not interested in the actual swapping too.

Most of the MARS Board will be helping out - bless their souls, but here are a couple positions I need filled:

Food prep/BBQ - man the grills and food tables
Cleanup crew - stick around a good half hour after the event to help clean up
Set up crew - arrive early to help set up (10AM)
Frag check ins - Help manage the check in process for folks getting assigned tickets
Picking areas security - ensure valid round ticket holders enter and exit the area
Misc - folks who get thrown to put out fires as the need arise.

Thank you all in advance for your support! Without you, we simply are not able to pull these things off.

hey mike, it looks like i will be showing up for the fun but not swapping, so i would be glad to help out. put me down for frag check-ins. or i guess whatever. doesn't really matter which job, just might as well make myself useful.

Michael - Setup
Brooke - Frag check in

Kelly - Food prep (hehe, I am glad she does not read these boards)
Kevin - Setup\clean up

I am sure I am missing somebody. Please PM your contact number so that I can call you the day before to confirm places and times. I will then also go over what the duties are involved and the process. Don't worry, much of it is pretty straight forward, but I like to have my sucke...I mean, helpful members, well prepped in advance. It just makes for a smoother ride.

Well we can at least try. Thank you David! I have some to drop by Coral Reef Shop and I am hoping Ed was able to make it to your Reef to drop those off as well. Those printed out really nice. For our brothers up north, I will be sure to save our working materials to give you for when you put on your swaps. Nothing better than having a premade template to work off of.

That would be very welcome to have that template for our frag swap. Any information on how you guys planned and what you might do differently the next time would also be great.

Of course, you won't know what you would do differently until after the frag swap. I would also like to know if your club secretary is going to be there. I would like to talk to them as I am the club secretary for the Chico Reef Club and since we are very knew, I would like to get some info about what kind of things the secretary does for the club.

Any info would be awesome.

Yes, I'll be there. I'd be more than happy to share, although I've not been in the position very long.
