200g oceanic

i finally got the 200 oceanic rr up and running in the basement. i have a few rocks in it i got from wayne and a few randomn pieces i had already. the lighting which i just got wired the other day is an icecap 660 overdriving ge daylight bulbs from hd. it should overdrive the 40w bulbs to 80 for a total of 320w. i am just going to make it an aggressive tank with big fish. i am pretty excited.. triggers, puffers and angels etc.. fish i wouldnt keep in my reef. i finally got my skimmer the other day which is an asm g3. i had the mrc mr2 but this will cost about a third of the electricity. i wanted to get a g4 but it wouldnt fit in my 55gal under the tank. so far so good. i will try and post pics this weekend. oh yeah, i am using home depot sand too.

that does sound cool, i get so frustrated when the cooler fish aren't reef safe. post up some pics when you can

i still have to do some work on the canopy thats why i havent posted pics yet. right now it has a shop light suspended over it so its nothing spectacular. hopefully i can work on it today. the oceanic canopy doesnt give much clearance for bulbs so i have been working on it. if i use it as is the bulbs will be ~ 1-1 1/2 inchs above the water and i dont have any glass to sheild them. that being said i am still charging the camera and hope to have some pics today
