Let's see how all those pieces are looking

Looks like I ended up with some sort of tricolor/garf-ish thing

I tossed the zoas due to a ridiculous amount of baby aiptasia being everywhere in nooks and crannies of what the zoas were mounted to. Kind of a bummer, but oh well

Here is my zoa combo reds I thought were derrick rose's but not the big one is open it not a d.r. probably the same as your 3$j.

sorry for the bad pic but here is my sps frag it s all blue

My zoas were the same. Orange skirt with a stripe

Glad I spent so much time trying decide which zoa frag to take...

I still need to take pics of my holiday frags and the 2 zoas frags I picked up in the raffle. Overall I was really happy with what Aquasd provided us. Just a little algae on the frags but nothing too bad as well as nothing scary pest wise after inspection and dip.

This cool acan that was a freebie that was included with my purchase of 3 zoas.

I made a stop at Fish Pros on my way home but not one person asked if I wanted any help after over 15 minutes of looking around. I even wanted to purchase a zoa frag and they had some cool fish and acan frags but I got tired of waiting for assistance and ended up walking out. Decided to check out Vallejo Aquarium as well and bought this cool striped blenny and interesting Hawaiian people eater zoa(only $5).

Here's the milli pack that I got from them. Didn't get anything from the swap since 5 frags were immediately added to the tank along with some palys. Everything was fine for me as far as pests etc... Pics taken with the S5.

Here's an updated shot of my SPS piece. Base has started encrusting and am getting more and more purple coral every week

My guess is zoa eating nudi. Tough little buggers. Pretty resilient to dips. I had some come in on a colony of zoas once. After experimenting with dips I found that flatworm exit worked very well when used at around 5x dose.

Ok....I'll be the one to say it....you should ALWAYS dip your corals no matter who you get them from....with that being said....I have ordered a bunch of coral from aqusd (basically my whole tank) and never had any issues...all corals come healthy and polyped out....will is doing an awesome job there....I would highly recommend them! Just my two cents....

Conan, can't agree with you more. Been in this hobby for a good amount of time and aquasd always comes through via price, selection, and customer service.

Hope I didn't imply there was something wrong with AquaSD. Just posted because I'm proud of the pic (my best macro so far!) and as a reminder to everyone.

I treat every addition, vert and invert, as though it has every disease/pest know and take precautions. There is no perfect source.

To answer Carlos's q. I posted this pic on the 'identify this' thread on RC and the best guess is it's a zoa eating nudibranch. I'm on the hunt for possible eggs now and will probably dip coral at least 2x before it makes it to the DT.

BTW, who let a Florida poster into our club forum! :lol2: :lol2:
