Its not....lol...i have been so busy I haven't had anytime to work on it. I have most of the stuff to get it going but I think it will have to be my winter project.

ok...corals are all supposed to be here tomorrow...they got delayed a day.
But in the meantime I have a couple questions:
I have noticed a lot of flatworms in my refugium and I got kind of nervous but there doesnt seem to be any in the DT at all. Now I would only assume that some make their way to the DT but what would be eating them fast enough for them to not start showing up in the DT? I have a couple ideas but wondered what everyone on here thought. I would guess either my cleaner wrasse, scooter blenny(huge by the way) or maybe the damsels?
ok next, I am wondering why my deresa clam always moves to the front of the tank right up to the glass, and is it going to bother it that I move it back once a month?

Growing in my sump and wondered if I should keep it?
Last I am looking to do a couple things to my system to help improve things a little and would like some suggestions?

I would not keep moving the clam.Try to move it to a new spot and see what happens. Is it opening up all the way?

They have a habit of getting themselves wedged in wierd places with their "swimming." If I were you I would keep that algae just as something different if it is doing well. The link said it does not typically do well so maybe you can figure out what is different about your tank that is does well. Overall flames have pretty low survival rates and yours has been in there quite some time so it is obviously eating something

must be because i feed so much...i think most of the filter feeders die from lack of food.

There are a variety of flatworms (it is a huge group) and many of them are relatively harmless aside from population explosions if there is lots of uneaten foods. Wrasses do a pretty good job of keeping them cleaned up. Given that cleaner wrasses have a poor record of takikng to prepared foods, I would be afraid that using flatworm treatment may mean his starvation. If they are not bothering acros, I would not loose any sleep over it. Many of the "pests" in our systems are merely problematic when we do not have the proper predator or other check on their population.

yeah i dont really think that they are acro eating ones but I was just wondering how they have not shown up in the dt when there are hundreds in the fuge. I think both my cleaner wrasse and the scooter blenny must eat any that make it to the DT.

You probably have a fish eating them. I had the same thing going on for a while. It must have been my 6-line Wrasse eating them. Because they were only in the sump. I never saw them in the DT ever. But there was a good amount in the sump at 1 point. I started running Polyp Labs ULNS and they just slowly went away. I only see 1 or 2 every once in a while in the sump nut for the most part they are gone. So it definitely a fish eating them, IMO.

i took a big rock out of my fuge that had three big patches of that macro algae on it and put it in the DT. The tangs love that stuff....

ok, i have a rodi ran directly to my tank with an auto top off to take care of my evaporated water. I am having some trouble maintaining my ph and alk. levels and was wondering if this is because of the rodi water. In theory isnt all rodi water a ph of seven? If so that and my giant clam could be the reason for my ph and alk dropping.

Replacing evap should theoretically be a net of 0 on ph and alk. You are replacing evap of pure water with pure water. If you skim wet and have an ATO you do need to watch that your salinity does not drop. A clam can use up Mg, Kh and Ca so I would watch the balance of those three elements.

it is really hard to find some info on these things!!!
A calcium reactor actor would really help stabilize you ca and kh, also I wouldn't have your ro/di going directly into the tank it can cause severe issues not to mention the going on/off constantly ruins your membranes a lot faster. Have an ato from a resevoir of Ro/di water.
For controlling, if you want all in one, look at ghl or acIII like they said... I really look into a Calcium reactor though with a good reg, yhou seriously can just set it and forget it.
