Been following a couple other builds on here and gave gotten motivated to get going with mine. In the past I have rushed into my other builds and have made many many mistakes, a lot of them because of my lack of patience. For this build ill be taking my time and doing it right ( or as right as I know how) I plan on building my stand canopy and maybe build an acrylic sump. Hell I'm even gutting a room to studs and concrete to make my office/ fish tank room

First I'm going to design and build my stand

Starting with base covered in p-lam for water and salt protection

The finished stand will have a removable front with face frame and raised panel doors, however for maintainance and just because the divider in my current stand ****es me off! When the front is removed there will be a wide open 4 ft opening in the front. To support the weight across this opening I made a pretty cool laminated Beam with steel L channel to bulletproof it

Looking for someone to make some doors for my stand, is that anything I could pay you to do

2" red oak. All I am looking for is just the frame so that I can inset glass. I know that is a little vague lol

good choice. any particular design in mind or just a square frame dado'd for glass panel? keep in mind that typical "stile and rail" design would require 1/4" glass or some kind of track or kit?

Well the opening of the stand is 43" x 29" I was thinking about doing 12 glass panels per door but was thinking that would cost too much. About what would you ball park cost per door. It doesn't need to be sanded or stained just rough/rustic
