210 gal foam background build (pics)

U know if you put the sand on before the foam drys it will stick and you don't need epoxy. Just a tip for next time. Wall looks good.

Hey look at that, back from the dead to show that the project is still working. Absolutely awesome man, I wish more people did this with their "crazy" DIY projects.
 
Thanks! Been a busy year. Finally starting to get some really good sps growth going. Its looking less like a giant frag tank, and more like an actual reef.

Would you mind posting pictures from the sides? I'm interested to see what the overall aqua scape looks like. The back looks really good!
 
Well, I really like it. It makes me think about making a small insert for just a portion of my 300. Would provide another area of attachment for a gorgonian or soft coral. Have the perfect spot in mind already...
 
Doing this with my 960g. 3 sides foam rock wall. It’s an inwall plywood build so wanted to cover 3 walls. I’ve done it multiple times before but I never resin/sand the foam. Coralline grows so fast on the foam for some reason.
