As i mentioned in my intro thread, i started on the hobby about 5 months ago and quickly started to get the itch of upgrading. last week my wife said to me "why dont we get a larger tank to cover the wall". So in no time I was calling my LFS to order the 210 (72 X 24 X 27), I ordered the 72 because they did not have the 84 (265 gallon) in stock and did not want to risk the wife backing off, lol.

the new tank will be in the family room in a space that we had a large desk and the tv. but since the kids have tvs on their rooms we did not see a problem with this. the old desk will be modified from 95 in wide to 65 in wide for it to be built in in another site within the same room.

the new system spec are as follows

Aqueon 210 gallon with dual overflows
custom made stand (followed rocketengineer design)
trigger ruby 36e sump
2 sicce 5 return pumps
3 AI vega lights with director
reef octopus skimmer
brs carbon reactor
brs gfo reactor
2 mp40 and 1 mp10
tunze ato
2 250 watts heaters
150 lbs live rock
150 lbs of live sand

thanks for watching

I dunno, looking at the wall . . . it sure seems like that 265 would have been better.

On the other it's always good to have room for an upgrade in the future ;)
