215g Caribbean Inspired Reef

Thanks! I may come visit you at GC Reef soon :)
I only got my brown acro frag this week so no growth yet. I am just happy it's still alive (fingers crossed)

+1 the tank is so real looking so natural allot of tanks are just that, yours is a step above you really forget you looking in a tank. Thanks for the updates Mike

I can tell you. I live in the Caribbean and this is a true representation of what I see every weekend when I go out diving. Great job!!!!

Hey, if you want some sweet stony caribbean corals, give Richard at TBS an email. Since he aquacultures the rock, and it has been out there a loong time, it is pretty easy for him to get some nice legal hard corals. I have at least 5 species in m tank.

oh and do you approve of ccritters.com i looked at it and everything is so cheap i dont know if its reliable or not

Dana at ccritters is very nice and the critters I got from him are all doing well. I get the impression he does it all: dive/collect/website/shipping/customer service so with one person doing everything it can get a little less organized than with SealifeInc for example where Kara does the customer service etc and others do the diving/collecting.
Not all of the things listed at ccritters are in stock at all times. If something is crucial to your order you may want to send Dana an email to see which critters in your order are actually available.
At Sealife Inc everything on the website tends to be in stock.
All of my spiny oysters are from ccritters. They aren't on the website but I emailed him saying I was interested in spiny oysters and he collected some for me so that is pretty nice.

Thanks. I sent him an email. I've tried to go that route before with other suppliers but since I don't need liverock it hasn't worked out before (they didn't want to sell me just the coral -they wanted to sell me lots of liverock with a random assortment of coral on it) I'll see what he says. :)

I have bought from CC as well and got nice healthy stuff at a very good price. He seems like a really nice and fair guy.

You can always drop my username fwiw. He takes very good care of his LR customers. I have gotten shipments of just gorgs, sponges, and corals.

Here's a few. The two tan ones in the middle.

Alright NoahM,
time to see your whole tank! Where's the link ;)?

I will try and get some newer pics, but this one is pretty recent except the red tree sponges are gone. The orange tree is doing awesome though. Don't mind the HA and horrible white balance. The tank is about 2 years old now.

Your tank is awesome btw.:eek1:

Oh sponges and gorgonians -love it!

I got in touch with Richard and ordered some goodies. Have never picked up anything at Air Freight before so that will be interesting when it happens. :)
