hey omari! the tank looks amazing! I think its time to have a fire swap, what do you say? we can put it together fast and meet up soon, whoever can make it can come, and if its just us then thats fine too! either way id like to come check out your tank soon it looks amazing and that achillies is awesome!

Frag swap at your place sounds good im sure i got some corals on plugs that u might be interested in trading for and your over due for coming to see the tank as well.Thx for the compliments

Hey, this was my lunch break reading today! Very nice! Your caps are impressive and I love your rock work.
What I do to get the blue out of the photos is point my camera to a white sheet of paper while depressing the shutter halfway (don't allow the flas to go off either). That adjusts the white balance I believe. I have a Nikon SLR. I also change the ASI (don't have my camera here so can't look) to make my depth of field longer for less blur. I change it from auto to 400. I also turn my circulation off to stop blur from movement.

We bought a torch from you and your dad at the frag swap awhile ago now. One head died soon after we got it but the other is doing great.

Thanks for the pointers on the camera i use an iphone for the majority of these but we do have an nikon slr cam so this information will be useful to know. Sorry to hear one of the torch heads didn't make it but im glad some of the coral at least made it. Torches have always been an slow grower for me personally.

Time for some more updates. Im on an experimenting phase so im trying a few things that ive never used before. For one ive never used Flake food since ive been in the hobby due to information i found on here that was roughly 6 years old so i bit the bullet and decided to give some Ocean Nutrition reef flakes a shot. Any Feed back on this food or other flake foods you guys have liked would be great.

I couldnt decide which one to get so i decided to test out all 3 so far im seeing all the fish enjoying the new treat.

Started to Venture trying out Julian Sprungs sea veggies seaweed since all of the Ocean Nutrition seaweed has been on back order for months. I have alot of tangs as im sure you guys can tell from my pictures and i like to keep them fat so i spoil them with seaweed.

Added another phosban for carbon since ive always just used a filter bag and tossed in it the sump. I decided to see if running carbon this way is any more efficient. Would like peoples thoughts on this if you've had any experience with it.

One of my favorite pellets by far and will prob continue being my favorite for many many years every single fish in my tank goes nuts for these things I highly encourage you all to try them out if you haven't.

I feed this every other night "if" i can remember to do so ive seen sps get a nice trigger response from this food so i continue to use it.

I love NLS pellets but flake is ok as long as its high qulity. as in anything, diversity is key. lets chill soon bud. Miss you and your pops.

2 Reactors set up for gfo/carbon ive acutally been thinking about "trying" bio pellets but as a wise man once said "If it aint broke dont fix it" so im holding off on that one for a while.

Got a purple tang for the most part its a mild citizen the yellow and purple chase each other every once in awhile but no torn fins or major fights so im content with keeping him in there for the moment.

My fish stock list is almost complete aside from a few gobies /other smaller fish. Surprise to say with as many tangs as i own along with the amount if feed my phosphates are still .03 and nitrates are pretty low so low to the point I actually took down the 2nd skimmer we had running on the system in fear that were stripping the water column too clean. Im not too sure how much nitrates sps corals consume but i remember reading somewhere that they do consume a small portion so id rather have nitrates of 5 "if" it doesnt pose any algae bloom threats.
