220 gallon build

Time to downsize. I will be posting this system for sale in the next few weeks.

Moving to a 50 gallon cube.

Sole reason is cost of ownership. I dragged it out as long as I could, but life created different priorities...

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Where does everyone get acrylic that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I like building my own sumps, but it's like $70 for a 4' x 2' piece that is 1/4" thick at a hardware store...

Try Taps plastic on Santa rosa avenue in front of petco. I don't know if we have 1/4" thick at my work or I could give you my discount.

I live in Petaluma, so I'll check them out for sure.

I've been using the stuff in the back you can get a Friedman's, Home Depot, Lowe's, all the same brand I believe.

Thanks for the info and when I rework one of my current builds I'll be sure to make a new post with my findings.

Woe a K2R Reactor! I'm still using one myself. I'm assuming that came with the tank?

Nice stand framework. I wish I could have done that. I ended up with a stock particleboard stand. At least my tank is small enough to replace it when the time comes.

Nope bought the k2r separate.

Not a good reactor as I came from a schuran jetstream. I never should have sold that reactor.. Grrrr!
