Updates... Aquamaxx ConeS CO-3 Had it sitting on my door step when I got home from my europe trip Sunday.

Made it to Croatia, Budapest, Munich, Paris, Gottingen, Hannover, and Hamburg.

Had a nice train ride through Austria as well.

lol. had a Mag9.5 but it died last night. I will be going to the backup today... Iwaki wmd40rlt. Iwaki is loud, but it has a bunch more GPH.

Good choice on the laguna bud. It is the quietest pump and low power consumption too.

Just got a laguna max flo 2000 from Jofish. They are awesome... Matched the price with amazon and knocked another 8% off that to take care of the tax difference.

I would highly recommend everyone go down there and get a super nice quiet return pump for less than you pay online...

You won't get a better deal anywhere. Trust me I looked. Thanks JoFish!!!

Thanks for the advice Owen. I was looking at Laguna max flos and they seem to be primarily pond pumps. Are they ok with salt water too? I couldn't find any specific statements about that on the manufacturer's website.

Reef bass it worked fine as a salt pump.cleaned twice with no noticeable rust or corrosion. Moved on to a dc12000 DC pump from wave line... Quieter, more flow and best of all less power consumption.

My over 250g system now adds less than 40 dollars to my PGE per month...

The co3 is nice. I am happy with it. Best skimmer I ever owned for the price. I may add a wave line pump when the needlewheel is available. Just to save a bit more on the bill.

Its a mess right now... But it is functional. Just got the calcium reactor. Media comes on the 29th. Going to do some cord cleanup before then.

Thank goodness I built the tank to cost very little to run or it would have gone away... Now it will tale me years to fill it. Sticks seem to be growing the best for now...

Congrats on the daughter! Didn't know? No you will get more fish before corals to satisfy her curiosity. My daughter loved my 250 when we had larger tangs.
