220 watts PC over 29g, what clams can I keep?

Just wondering what kinds of clams I could keep with this lighting. I could add 70 watts of hqi also.

You should be okay with a derasa or squamosa, but know that these two types of clams can get big and outgrow your tank overtime. you might also be okay with a gold maxima up high on the rocks.

Agreed. WIth 150 or 250w of HQI you could do Maximas orcroceas....the others would be really happy as well, just eventually get too big..

you could keep maximas or corceas up high WITH the 70 HQI. I wouldn't recommend them with the PC's, not intense enough. I know somebody somewhere has it that way and its great, I just don't think its best for the clam.

4-55w half actinic and half 10,000k power compacts and a 70w 10,000k hqi should be enough to keep one but you may need to keep it high in the tank just like the others have said. you should focus on a good color spectrum that the clams need, that is a good key to keeping them in a lower light condition.
