Hi Roger,

How economical would it be to swap out the 220v motors for the 110v version. Just trying to clean up my installation by getting rid of the step-up transformers.

Thanks,

Luis

It is part 4002.11A and it costs $118.30. I don't stock them and US 4002's are made to order. I keep the pumps on hand here and they usually just build a batch for me a couple times a year and because we have yet to need to replace a motor I don't stock them. As for how good of a value it is, I had a guy about 3 years ago that was running some nearly 20 year old 2002's and his motors worked but erratically. The replacements came complete with the bearings, rotor, and coil so from that standpoint I thought they were a good value.

Thanks Roger...I'll just keep that part number for when and if I ever need to replace a motor. These things work as well as they did on day one. I've only replaced the bearings once!

Just picked up a Turbelle 2002 on eBay for $50!!! What a steal!

Luis,

So you were the person who outbid me...lol...Great job!

Thanks again for the installation in July.

Ryan,

Yeah, I just couldn't resist adding another Tunze product to my vast collection!

Hope the Buffs bounce back from this next year.
