230 volt AC operation

I bought a Tunze 6100 and single controller 7091 in here USA, which is 110volt/60Hz model.

And I'm going to send it to the friend who lives in the Korea, where they use 230 volt AC.

I noticed an interesting description in the manual, saying

Turbelle stream 6000,6100 is operated by means of a 230/24 Volt transformer and a 24Volt driver. Thus the speed as well as a pulsing operation can be contiuously controlled by electronic means

Is that means that there is a simple way to change the operating voltage to 230 volt AC?

If that is true, my friend doesn't need step down transformer to run the pump with 110 volt AC

Not exactly. The pump and driver run on a max of 24V. You have two options. I happen to have one 230V transformer in stock, but it is used from a similar circumstance. You would want to either exchange the transformer for the 230V version which will have a German plug on it or use a step down transformer capable of 60VA from 230V to 115V. If you do otherwise you will ruin the pump.

To be frank with you, I already sent it, and my friend already use it with step-down transformer.
But he want to get rid of the step-down transformer if he can get 230V transformer.

Can you send it to him via international shipping before you get a return so he can run a pump without any interruption?

Once he get the substitution, he will send 110V transformer back to you.

We don't ship outside the US. I would rather just sell the transformer outright for $40, that is about half off of new. I could send it to someone in the US paying with a US credit card only. I am not set up to do customs documents and the international forwarding service from UPS would cost 3-4 times what the transformer does.

I can ship it to you. I am sure you can sell the transformer easily on RC. Lots of people are looking for them to convert 6000- 6100 Streams. Shipping would be extra but it will only cost maybe $5.
