I have a three year old 24" Current Orbit 2x65 (kinda) power compact light that I'm looking to get rid of. Overall, it's in nice shape, but I believe one of the ballasts has gone on it. The second ballast works (as do both bulbs, the fan, and the moonlights), but the one socket just doesn't work.
It currently has 1 10,000K daylight bulb in it with an Actinic 03 (460nm) bulb. Both of these bulbs are about 1 year old. I then have a second Actinic 03 bulb that's basically brand new (it's a long story, but basically MarineDepot shipped me the wrong bulbs, so this has about a week of time on it while everything got straightened out).
Anyway, I'm not an expert, but it would seem to me that this would either be good for somebody looking for spare parts for their existing Current Orbit, or that it would make a great light for a frag tank (I was thinking exactly that when I saw the frag tanks at the swap meet).
If anybody is interested, let me know...$20 and its yours, otherwise its going on eBay this weekend...
