what lighting do you have and how long has the clam been there? if you don't have MH, have you notice any color change in the clam?

150mh. No color change if anything color has gotten better

Update: I
have gotten a protein skimmer for the tank. i ts a Coral life super skimmer rated up to 65 gallons and its working very well right now. It has already take out lots of scum.
