Going to be building the Coast to coast this week and I will be using a beananimal type overflow.

Question about finishing off the acrylic before setting it in place I wanted to sand down the acrylic does anyone have a recommendation of sanding by hand or using a sander. I will be re sanding the whole tank so I am leaning towards a sander..recommendations welcome.

Yep. Many's the man who has had them forcibly removed for far lesser transgressions.

Not sure how precise or little sanding needs to be done to acrylic but that is the factor I would consider because by hand you can be more precise where the sander will just get the job faster. Sorry I cant help much more than that lol but nice bath tub tank! haha

Well whenever the wife begins to get upset I just lay the pipe. That could potentially explain why I have 3 kids at the age of 28.
