I dont even know how to compliment you the way I would like to buddy, this is clearly a passion and talent of yours. We are all here to learn from guys like you. -theres my compliment attempt.
I wont write you an essay, so Ill get to my question. If I wanted to try my hand at working with acrylic and build my own cal reactor, media reactors, skimmers, ext.. what advice would you have for me? your very talented in cutting, bending, and SEALING reactors.. what resources could you direct me too?

This thread is pretty well dead. I don't think Weatherson has posted on RC in 2-3 years, he may not be in the hobby any longer... no idea.
There are several HUGE acrylic threads on RC, here is one that has some basic acrylic info. just do a little searching in the DIY forum.

Hey everyone! Yep... I'm still alive and kicking. I thought I'd give a quick update for what's going on with my tank. It's been on cruise control for years now and I've become more busy with work during this time. So it's been progressively neglected. The large SPS colonies slowly succumbed over the years partly for over-crowding, AEFW's and the mentioned lack of attention. All this and the persistent high cost of electricity here in California and the fact that my wife and I are purchasing a new home, have led me to the decision to take the tank down and get out of the hobby. It's a double edged sword as I love my tank but not my current carbon footprint.
So with the upcoming move, the tank should be taken down within a week or two. I'm in the process of removing inhabitants as local reef aquarists need and as soon as everything is out, then begins the deconstruction. You can follow the process, if interested, on our local reef club website, Central Valley Reefers. I won't be posting here but may return (to the selling forum) when I get to selling off the equipment after we move to the new home. But it's going to be a while as we'll need to get settled in and finish our existing house in preparation for selling. So with this ends our long run in this amazing hobby. Everyone we've come to know and those who participated in my threads and journey have been great and it's been a pleasure. Thank you very much.

Joseph - best of luck to you and I'm sure you'll be back one of these days. You won't be able to resist, I'm sure. You have been an inspiration to many of us, certainly to me. I was one of the lucky ones to have seen your tank in person some years ago when my husband and I went on a trip out to CA.
