This one seems to have captured a piece of Frogspawn.

Well, I think it might be the side of a bristleworm, or perhaps the arm of a purple linkia that is out of the DOF of your lens.

Yep. It was a relatively long exposure of the Brain coral while the Serpent star moved one of his legs around it.

I was lucky a few weeks ago and picked up a leaking 135gl for free. Has a custom overflow with 2 drains also. I have almost all the old silicone scraped off of it as of now, still have a bit to go. It was over 1" thick in some places

Not sure if it`s possible for you or not, if it is could you possibly take a photo looking down the valley of the rockwork lengthwise?
I am thinking of going with something along those lines in the 135. Not exactly sure yet how I want to aquascape, also considering the lagoon style of rockwork. Do you still enjoy the scaping you went with or are there any regrets where you wished you might have done it differently?

Marc: Yes, it's still there just a little narrower now.

Knyght: I'll try and get a shot down the valley but the front glass distorts badly the image when shot at such an angle. I do still like the aquascaping in my tank. I feel it gives some interesting perspectives and allows for tiered positioning of SPS corals. Some say supermarket produce department but I say efficient use of space. I would do it differently but only if the tank were twice... four times as deep.

OK... Here's the best I could get. Again, shooting at such a severe angle to the front glass distorts the image quite a bit. The actual valley is wider than it appears in this shot but it has narrowed some from encroaching corals.

And a shot from above the back after moving the outside sinusoidal valve returns out of the way.

So... while I was at it, I decided to give a make-shift camera box a try. I had a small acrylic, topless box handy that worked well for getting the camera with wide lens down in the water. Here's a couple shots that didn't turn out too bad... for a first attempt.

First, a shot at the valley opening...

And another just for the heck of it since two of the Pipefish decided to get photogenic...
