240g A.G.E. Rimless Tank is becoming reality

Here are some new photos of the tank.
I keep forgetting to take shots of the equipment so I will snap some tonight and post them.

Sorry to ask an old question, but looking at your empty tank, can you explain the corners of the glass? It almost looks as if there's something holding the sides together? Or is it simply an illusion of the silicone on the inside. Only reason I guessed something holding it together is it looks like there's something between the sheets of glass where one butts up to another.

Also along the ridge is there anything on top? I know you went with starfire but it almost looks green, as opposed to the "clear" look of starfire.

The corners are all held together with black silicone which is placed in between each piece and down the inside corners.
I think the camera is making the glass look green because it is pretty clear in person.

Ooo....love your tank....by the way, I also recently got a Cotton Candy Cyphastrea but can't seem to get it open after 2 weeks in the tank.. is he a light/ flow lover or the complete opposite??

Mine hasn't opened up either. The place I got it from had three and they showed minimal polyp extension as well. I have it in a medium light, medium current area of the tank.

Thanks. I meant to focus on corals first but I had a few opportunities come up that I could pass on with the Angels. I will get back to adding corals soon.

The Bannerfish doesn't touch anything. I have had him for over 2 years and he hasn't picked at one coral. I got him when he was only about 1" long and he is not about 3"-4".

omg man im loving yoour tank especially the conspiculatus angelfish (absolutly gorgeous), not to mention all your other fish more photos and more classy fish. :D

NP - I run (1) 400 watt aqua connect 14k bulb on an Icecap ballast in a Lumenmax 22"x22" square reflector along with (4) 24" T-5's and (4) 36" T-5s. IMOP I believe that this is plenty of light for my SPS.

As far as the Helfrichs jumping, there are no other fish in the tank that are going to harrass these guys which should keep jumping to a minimum but I cannot rule out the possibility over time.
