240g lee mar in-wall commences!

great build, been reading for a while now. Curious though, where did you get those rails, tracks, and wheels for the lights? thats a great idea and might solve a problem of mine. Thanks and great work.

Thank you!
I thought I posted the link to the hardware in the earlier pages. They were from McMaster Carr. Just went back and could not find it, so here you go:http://www.mcmaster.com/#door-hanging-tracks/=giv8si

I hope it will still be useful to you.

Just went through the entire thread, and I must say I AM IMPRESSED! This build is just phenomenal. I love the progress from beginning to current, and your coral growth has just exploded and matured so well. Thanks for allowing us to journey along with your project, and I look forward to seeing another update soon :)

Thank you for taking the time to read this through :)
I wanted to be able to share the experience and give credit to those whom I myself have gained a ton of knowledge.
I'm getting ready to go nuts with fish again soon, hopefully before the summer, however the Nigricans is posing a major challenge in that he's nearly killed the last couple fish I've attempted to add, so I will have some decisions to make.

Ahh sorry to hear about the loss of fish :( Hope you get the minor error's back on track! Hope to see a image update soon!!!!! :)

Thankfully there were no physical losses as the fish virtually swam into the palm of my hands for rescue on more than one occasion, no joke.

While on that note, I decided it was time to get the summer stock list rolling, hence I currently have two batches in QT. I won't say what all yet we will just have to see :).

2 batches....wooo hooo!!
Must be some amazing stuff in QT :D
Is peeking allowed? :D

Okay just for you my friend and maybe Brett:D

The angel is fairly available, however they are tough to get eating so I'm guessing most stores don't bother. The Tang in the photo is A. Pyroferus (mimic tang), but there are three yellow tangs in another tank. I still very much admire your C. Muelleri:)

Thank you, he's a pain but worth the extra effort. To this day he refuses to eat mysis like everyone else.

The Venustus...such a beautiful fish. What's your feeding plan for it? Does it like anything specific whilst in QT?
Just a suggestion....try adding few test SPS frags in QT and see if he is nipping or leaving it alone? Just you can assess his character. :)

I'd have to wait till copper is no longer in that system to try that, but a good idea nonetheless.
The angel is foraging and picking on left over food, I wish it were actively eating though.

Out with the Nigricans! I took him out this evening, as he was just way too aggressive. It will be nice to be able to make a few more additions without worrying if they'll be sliced up by the next morning.

Here are the pics of the upgraded mixing station, I also snapped some shots of under the stand and my "wrasse barrier"...

I also added a brand new C02 removal chamber by Spectrapure as I've tested as much as 16ppm of C02 going into my ro/di unit.

The two QT tanks I added a few months ago

Where did you pick the Spectrapure co2 removal chamber from?
