How does the RC car fit in??

Nice.. I enjoy seeing others ideas in regards to behind the scene. Figure out what someone else did and get ideas for modifications to mine.

Very nice!!

HAHAHA

My 10yo will be upset!

lol yes i have a 12 yrs old. 2 of them are nitro gas powered rest lithium ion battery powered.
from small to large in the pic:

40 mph (battery), 70 mph (nos), 60 mph (battery), 65 mph (nos), 50 mph (battery).

well i finished the setup today and got all 300 some gals of water in there at 1.026. After 24 hrs i checked ammonia is 2.0 ppm and nitrites are 0.5 ppm. Macro rock sent me a bacteria starter bottle for free so i dumped it in there after taking the readings.
Now if i cycle fast i am not sure if it would be due to 50 lbs of pre-established rock in the sump thats been there for 2 yrs or these bacteria in bottles do work...
i have never been a fan of bottle bacteria i think its a waste ... oh well i wont be able to tell on this tank.

today's up date: exactly the way i though it would go.

ammonia dropped from 2ppm to 1ppm in 24 hrs
nitrites went up from 0.5 to 1ppm.

this proves my theory that there was already enough bacteria to neutralize ammonia in that 50lbs of rubble rock.
anyways my prediction is by 24-48 hrs i will have zero ammonia and then another week for nitrites to go down to 0. So my prediction of 2 weeks still looks possible.

Yes I did. Which was good for 40 gal tank. I have a 350 gal of water. But it could be bacteria in bottle.

Lights went up today. 6 x AI Vegas 70% intensity on all colors. this is what it looked like under lights,

temp 79F
salinity 1.026
ammonia 0
nitrite 1ppm
nitrate 0 (running an establishes biopellet reactor)
alk 9.62
cal 450
mag 1350
phos 0.15 (i was running under 0.05) with vodka dosing and gfo. so i replaced gfo in 3 brs canisters.

just like i predicted cycle lasted only 3 days. i am waiting till tomorrow to get nitrites down to 0 then move some fish in it. even tough nitrites of 0.2 is not at all any harmful to fish but i will wait till tomorrow.
Will post updates tomorrow.

today's update:
ammonia 0
nitrites 0
nitrates 40

looks like cycle ended. i moved 3 clowns and 2 cardinals over to DT.
still waiting for Tangs in QT to get back to regular salinity from hypo. i am at 1.018 as of now.

well after few days and watching cycle end completely i did transfer the fish over. they also came out of hypo and i matched all parameters closely before moving them.
a few pics for updates.
