24hr Update..Is This Poop or is my New Nem in Trouble?

They Got My Number
Been almost 24 hours since adding my RBTA and being that this is my first nem I have no idea if he is doing well or not. I also need to know if the green/brown string in middle the last photo is anemone poop or if it his symbiotic algea? If it is algea what can I do to help him? I'm doing a water change today since it is water change day anyway. He did take a krill today at around 9:30am if that helps at all.

The videos of it after it was first introduced are here:

It has not moved at all since I introduced it by the way. Seems very happy with its home!

Your RBTA looks like it's doing fine. The green string appears to be fairly compact, which would indicate excrement. Usually expelled symbiotic dinoflagellates have a more "mucousy" type of appearance (and occasionally expelling excess dinoflagellates is not necessarily a problem either).

Thanks a lot! I'm going to do the water change in a couple hours and try and raise the salinity from 1.023 to 1.025 and then go from 1.025 to 1.026 tomorrow (measured with refractometer of course).

This clown anemone thing is getting really addicting! I think I'm going to keep this girl in the 55 when I move everyone else to the 210 and try and add more nems and a mate for her!
