250 Gallon Starphire SPS tank

Nice tank and set-up LittleBlueGT.

Nice car too. We have a bunch of WRX's running around here in L.A. Good bang-for-the-buck those subi's. My buddy has a STi and he's let me drive it a few times. Easy to launch compared to my M5 because of the 4wd of course, but I crush him in roll-on's ;) .

I'm thinking about getting a WRX STi and modding it. For relatively cheaply (at least compared to the M5  ) you can push 400 hp at the crank and have a little canyon screamer. I've never heard of a GT. What's it got in it? Is it 4wd? What type of mods have you done/are you planning?

I see one of your interests is four door sports cars so here's a couple shots of my M5 you might appreciate. I like the photo's of your nissan...I need to have someone take pro shots like that of mine one day. My pictures are horrible...oh well.

Sorry if OT.

Good luck with your tank and sale of the nissan.

Awesome M5, I love those cars. Too rich for me though.

What Dinan mods do you have? They have good stuff!

My buddy that took the pics only has a cheap 3 mega-pixel Canon camera and some PS skills.

I don't take near as good pics with my G6. I have some learning to do.

Nice looking sump Ben. I imagine you have the only Starfire sump brace. :)

At least you have air in your tires.

When are you coming to town next, I could use a frag of your green acro.;)

Thanks LGT. I've had a G3 for years but I'm not much of a photographer. I want to start learning how to take better pictures. I would especially like to learn how to take better macro shots of my reef tank inhabitants.

Yeah, DINAN stuff is great. It is warrantied by BMW and is all
CARB (California smog) certified. You pay the price through your
nose for that though.

So far I've got:

3.45 limited slip differential
lightened flywheel
engine software
high-flow throttle bodies
velocity stacks
cold air intake
high-flow mass air meters
Remus mufflers
Supersprint x-pipe
Headers
strut and shock tower braces
UUC short-shift kit
19" BBS LM two-piece forged wheels 19" X 8.5" front/ 19" X 10" rear
Michelin Pilot Sports (245/35 series front, 275/30 series rear)
intake air temperature sensor relocation

Wish list:
Bilstein PSS9 ground control suspension
Brembo Big Brake kit

That should do it and then I'll be in the poor house

It's putting out ~470 hp at the crank. Accounting for 20% drivetrain loss, it's putting out ~375 hp to the rear wheels.

I love wiping the smile off the faces of unsuspecting C5 and AMG drivers ;) .

M5's are sleepers. Not many people even know what a "M" car is.

Good luck on the tank and congrats. Keep the pictures comin'!

Not sure when. The green one is doing the best, although not growing much under the 175w. CV bulbs.

Do you like the CV bulbs?

I was thinking of getting some CV 250s, but I will likely get the Pheonix 250 14Ks.
