I have a seperate top-off system that ensures the tank is always filled properly.
On the feed side of the kalk reactor will be a precision needle valve that will dose a steady stream (more like a steady drip) of water to the reactor. All I have to do is make sure the steady drip is lower then my evap (when evap is at its lowest) and I will always dose the same amount of kalk to my tank every day. The top-off system will take care of the rest.

DerekW said:Ok, being as I've read of several accidents in the last couple days, and I've made dozens myself, I'll give you a worst case scenario to think about. What if your return pump stops, the kalk reactor will keep filling your sump, reducing salinity, increasing ph and possibly overflowing the sump.
