250 gallon water storage container

lol house is a liittle over 3,000 sq but the problem is that my garage is behind my backyard and the tank is in the front of the house, i have to go across everything to get water into my tank.. and to add insult to injury i live on a hill so the garage is actually 15-20 feet below my tank's elevation... lol thats why i was asking so many questions.. believe me i was trying to think of a way to make it work...

Gabe, If you really want the container, it will work.

I have that exact water container myself and I (meaning my bf) built a stand for it in the garage so we never move it.

To start off, we just made a few water runs to Corona Del Mar until all 250 gal was full. We have a 65 gal water container and about 70 gal worth of 5 gal jugs. Each time we go to Corona Del Mar, we get about 130g worth of water. We only do 50 gal water changes at a time so we only do a water run now once every 5 months or so. It is awesome!!!!

In the beginning we slowing introduced the free salt water by mixing it first with 25% free water 75% bagged salt...now we are 100% free water. Fish are fine

you can't beat free water!!!!

where is this scripps? and the water is truly free? I've never heard of this place and it intrigues me. Would this water be similar to RO/DI water or would RO/DI water be better?

Where are you getting water in Corona? Are you just dipping it out of the ocean?
