Hello, Im selling my 250 gallon water container that I used to get free Scripps sea water for water changes. I bought this for $350 online and used it only twice. I don't really need this big of a tank so its up for grabs. Included are mounting brackets that can be set up for a truck bed or auto detail trailer. please pm if your interested..thanks..

Hey Mike,

After the long drive to Sripps and back, how much of the 150g was free? Asking, cause know someone in Corona with a large system and trying to convince him to semi-free Scripps. It all comes down to how much it costs to transoprt it.

All the water is free.. its pumped in from the ocean off of a pier and goes through a couple sand filters and out through a water hose just at the start of the pier..everyone just pulls up to the hose and fills their water tanks up....the only cost involved is gas...I forgot of the other place I would go that cut my travel time in half...its a research lab only about 1 hour away from my house...I started going to sripps before with 5 gallon containers but that got old really quick..then I found this other location that was much closer...darn it...if someone knows where Im talking about then please chime in...

I go to Scripps once a week with 7g jugs for total of 49 and it only costs me 2g of gas :-)

Wondering how much it would cost to haul 150 to Corona. Roughly; was it more or less than $100?

The question now; where is the research lab (other location)? :)
When you find out, LMK. Thanks.

dude i would take it in a heard beat but i have no way to get the water off my truck and then into my garage and then into my tank some 200 feet away in the house....

bump...

i know someone can use this thing... maybe someone who services tank could use it...

I had the same problem,
so what I did was add a water hose nozzle to the tank.. I backed my truck into my garage..then attached a 100ft water hose to the tank and dropped the other end into my sump inside my house...the water tank is at a higher elevation so all that water just easily drained into my sump..when the tank was empty I just took it out of the truck bed and "viola" 150 gallon water change in 5 minutes..

you would just need a 200ft water hose instead..dude..you must have a huge house..
