Is this enough lighting for a 20 gallon high?

According to my reading it is, also what kind of bulb should I get for it?

Yep, definately enough. If you just want the 1 bulb, try for one in the 14k to 20k range. I really like the 14k Hamilton.

i have a 250wayy hqi ab 20k bulb on my tank works well for me.

on this same subject i have a T maxima baby in a 150 gal. tank 48" x 24" x 30"h and the glass of my 250 hqi pendant is 9 inches from the water surface and my sandbed is about 5" deep so with the clam sitting on the bottom he's about 33 or so inches under the pendant and i have a 14k bulb . do you think he's ok or should i move him up ? he seems fine but i'm not sure if he's getting enough light . also what should i be feeding him ? thank you in advance.
