250g SPS peninsula style tank

Great pictures. What has your maintenance and dosing routine been like? I'm really impressed that I see basically no algae in the photos.

I do water change every 15 days using TMP at 1.026 which I found that this salt match my water parameters in my tank and that help me to keep everything in a good balance

I'm dosing 90ml of CA and KH and 50ml of MG every day, using a BM dosing pump to do this automatically

I feed my corals with Oyster feast every day at night ,other then that nothing alse

whats in the bowl? tank looks great

I was using the bowl to attach some ricordeas to some rubble rock that has inside the bowl ,I not longer using it

What an awesome tank - love the aquascaping (keep the updated coming pleeease)

thanks,I will try to keep posting the advances of my tank

Looks great! How do you like the Tunze Wave box? Worth the money?

Thank you

I really like to use the wave box as a flow supplement because it helps to keep all the water in movement, this way I have less dead spots in the tank, the only think that I don't like, is that makes a little bit of noise but I all really get use to it :spin1:

Looks beautiful, I have almost same setup and I love it, get those sprigs of hair algae out though :). Very nice job

can you tell me what the largest coral is to the far left? I have one and would like to know its name if possible. You have a gorgeous tank man, cant wait for time to pass its magic onto your tank! Good luck and ill be taggin along from here on out. Thanks for posting!

thank you,I already get rip of the hairy algea couple months ago,I was using a bulk carbon from my LFS and every time that I was replacing the carbon,I notice that was causing a lot of algea problems including the hairy algea issue, I also tread the tank with algea fix marine and after couple doses all the algea where gone including my chaeto algea :( I end up replacing all the chaeto from my fuge

they sold it to me as "the joker staghorn",the coral is very hairy and the tissue is green with purple tips it's very interesting when you see it closer

thank for all you great comments

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it before and I skimmed over it. But in regards to the wave box. I thought it was supposed to have an unobstructed "view" to the other side of the tank. Having it hit the rock doesn't minimize its effect? Not trying to sound as a know it all, I am actually genuinely asking because I don't know....

Love the tank, so clean and like the choice of lighting.

hello maelv

that's a great question, I also thought the same think before I installed but I try many different positions around the tank to see if they make any difference but I didn't notice any change at all,to be honest I notice better performance in the place that I created for

here is a video that I make when I installed for the first time

Joker acro is a good name for it. I like mine very much! Yours is awesome too and a little larger than mine so good work growing it. Mine grows quickly and from the looks of it being your largest coral I'm guessing it grows good for u too. Thanks for the reply.

at some time I was thinking to get rip of it because it grows super fast, I been making a lot of frag out of it because I want to keep all my corals around the same range but with this baby is totally impossible they fully recover in less then
2 weeks after the fraging method :crazy1:I think I just going to let it be

Cool video. Yeah I guess it isn't really making much of a difference in performance. I had one once on a 220 I used to have and had a nice wave going. I loved mine also. Grats and great looking tank and rock work.
