250w over a 50g

Well I was sure I had enough light in my 50 gal after I put on my 250w se mh, but now I am unsure. Will this be enought light to keep acros? I know montis will be fine but I realy really want to keep acros. The tank is very bright and 3 feet long. I have a 14k hammy se bulb in a spider reflector sitting 9 inches off the water. I was thinking of adding a 96w pc behind and below the MH angled into the tank. Anyone out there using one 250 over a 50/55g tank and keeping acros? Thanks.

You might have some shading towards the outer edges wifth wise but everywhere else should have plenty oflight. The pcs would be nice for dusk dawn simulation or attinic supp.

Suprisingly there really arn't any shaded areas that are from lack of light. I did set up some shaded areas for some lower light corals though. I am thinking on the 96w pc addition though. I already have like 4 of em from my old tank might as well use one.
