I'd go for the 300DD, 16% more length isn't worth giving up the width. As was said, neither is really sufficient for a full grown Naso, so it's still a compromise.
I went with the 265 gallon. It is a perfecto tank, so it will have the corner overflows, which means I will have full two feet from front to back. This was deterring me because I have a 120g Aqueon right now and the overflows are the megaflows and they get in the way, but once I found out it was corner my decision was pretty easy.
The 300DD is an awesome size, but the three feet front to back, PLUS having it off the wall about a foot will take up a LOT of space, which I just have to realize I do not have, without rearranging and cramming things, which I dont want to do.
I have this tank too, I probally would have went with the depth of the 300 if i could have gotten them for the same price, because with all the rock it does shrink up pretty quick. Oh well, just fuel for the next upgrade!
