InsaneClownFish Thanks I really like the aquaconnects too. Not happy about the price though.

b2d2t Yeah that tang got real big, I remember when I first had him, he would sleep at night in the crevice of one of the Tunze powerheads.

Everyone else, thanks so much for the kind words. Here are some shots of the sump room I built when I set up this tank, and some stand shots.

The stand I build myself to fit in the modern look that I have in the Living room. So here is an picture when it was just set up so you can see the stand better.

Since the tank is 3 feet deep. I was able to put in 21" deep drawers and still have 15" for some equipment, but only light ballasts and some plugs are in there. Here is a pic with the drawers open. It really allows me to keep a ton of stuff under than tank and not clutter up the rest of the house with my reef supplies, my wifes like that!

Shots of the sump room.
The sump room is in the basement, directly below the tank. In this picture the drains of the main tank above go to the glass tank, which is being used as a settling tank to gather detritus from the main tank, I siphon this tank once a week during water changes. From there the flow goes to the frag tank on the right, then to the white tank that is a 90 gallon sump. From the sump the water is pumped to the main tank as well as split to go to a chiller, the skimmer and a reactor that has GFO and carbon in it. You can see the Ca reactor and Kalk reactors on the left side.

Better shot of the frag tank and sink in the sump room, as well as the chiller, before it was hooked up.

Last here is a shot looking from the sump back into the entrance of the room, shelves with supplies as well as the Rubbermaid container that hold makeup water. For the floor I put in a vinyl floor and vinyl floor molding, I used silicone in between the floor and the molding, that way all water spills that happen in the room will stay in the room rather than spilling outside.

Any questions please let me know.

in the main shot of the sump room , what are all the gadgets you have ,specifically the ones on the far left, looks very intresting !

Nothing crazy, from the left going right, Ca Reactor, Kalk Reactor, GFO/Carbon reactor, and dual beckett skimmer.

MrineLfRlzThanks!

b2d2tI think most of the equipment was bought when I was selling frags, so it probably cost me very little. Any way all that stuff is about 5 years old at this point, before the craze of expensive equipment we seem to have now. :)
