Looking good, I have a question about your lighting setup. I see you are going to overdrive them, i assume you are using the 60" overdriven to 100w a piece? How many bulbs are you going with for your 30" width?

I am contemplating going 30" deep but can't decide on lighting. The other dimensions of my tank will be 72x36x? 25 or 30.

I have leaned between 8-9 overdriven t-5's or lumenbright reflectors with 250w reeflux bulbs. Any thoughts

Thanks
Jason

Right now I'm going to use 6- 60" and 4- 48" until after Christmas when I can afford to get more. I want to run 18- 36" as they are the most efficient size.

Steve

Ok sounds good i was looking for the most cost effective but enough light at the same time. That was why i was thinking of the 800-900w of 60" t-5's.

I will have 45 degree nozzles on the bulkheads on the tank floor for better directional control.

its a 280 not a 135 but still 10 tangs plus another 9 or so fish including a pair of triggers and a Moray is ALOT for that tank IMO.

Well, I was worried because all my rock was in the 150g rubber sump I was going to use, so I needed to get totes to remove the rock and water to move the tub and plumb in the overflows and return. Well, I got another 110g tub from Drew at The Critter shop, so now I can plumb everything without having to move the rock first. I will have water, sand and rock in the tank by the weekend of the 14th. Really looking forward to this. More pics to come...

Please do not take offense at this...but you are going to have problems doing this...
Read this please.

Except, as I understand, he is moving his live rock and possibly sand and water from the old to new tank so this will not be applicable.

I have water from the old system and water from the system holding these fish, plus I'm adding some new water. The rock have been in SW circulation since the move in Sept.
