Finally getting things going on the 29g that I got from Tomoko back on the 9th of Aug. Wasn't that big of a clean-up job on the tank and sumps even tho they had been sitting dry for a long time. The hardest thing I had to do was figure out how to get the new t5 light fixture attached to the canopy because it had a 2" piece of wood running down thw seam where it was hinged keeping me from flush mounting it and keeping it level....
2 days:mad: it took me to figure on a way to rig it up to work:rollface:

sure has been alooonnnggggggg day for me!

the water I'm starting with to cycle everything came from the water change on the 75g that I did today also...was a mess tho, I ran a hose all the way across 2 rooms and pumped the old 75g water straight into the 29g..sounds pretty easy huh? LOL ..well was until it srung 2 leaks and water was going everywhere:mixed:

now waiting to finish mixing the remainder of the water to fill the sump
hoping it will only take about 2 weeks for everthing to cycle and settle down so I can finally transfer my mated pair of clowns and all my zoas to their new home:)

LOL....just noticed the camera is a day behind..oh well that's what happens when ya don't know if your comin or goin let alone what day it is....anyhow, just finished fillin the sump and everything is up and running...goin to do the whole series of test tomorrow so I'll know where everything stands

lol....did go buy Jim's yesterday and might have gotten a sample of the package that's there for ya...:wildone:

That is what was missing from our package!!!!!! :smilie(':bum:')
You are not going to belive this, we bought the Blue Jaw trigger pair!!!!!!!!!! YES, we are crazy, they are so pretty!!!!!!!!

you were just fussin about how big Bruce and Jimmy are and now ya done went and bought 2 more fish for the tank...hey I didn't see those there...where they from that 120?

We haven't mention the mandrin pair we bought
May have to get rid of the big fish!!!!!!!! LOL
Just means more water changes.

Your setup looks great, Virginia!!

When you get tired of cleaning the spray bars, you can try a SCWD wave maker. It should work well in your tank. You could go whole hog and get a VorTech MP10 instead, of course.

Quick update....

tank has been up and running for 5days now and are parms are in check (thinkin using the main tank water to begin with has helped a great deal) and I noticed today that the are about a dozen mushrooms now fully opening on one of the rocks that I believe came from Tomoko also see at least one "Aptiasia" and a few small feather dusters...thinkin that this Sunday I will add some yellow zoas that grow pretty wildly in the main tank in to see how they do, that's if everything is still in check
Looking into the SCWD for a later purchase after I know exactly how I want things to look...as far as right now, the spraybars are doing a great job of circulating everything but then again it is clean at the moment.
