29 gallon NANO build

there should be one in my thread and hes in my vids also. tries cleaning the glass even, hes ready for action.

Nice ill take him I just bought an emerald crab and a tiny blue hippo lol. It's cute for now having tiny fish they r cute but once they get bigger...ill take it anyways do u have any cuc

not sure, i have 4 rose anemones that have different colors and three torch corals more on the bottom end of the tank. watch the last couple of vids better and in HD. should show it.

that doesnt help me. And i dont have algae cuz i take care of my tank. lol, i do have tiny parts of cyano right now but i havent had my vortech for a while so ill see if thats why.

not not all anemone tank since i have the other corals. we will see how fast they multiply though so yes they could take over. I really want to do an sps tank, ill look soon to see if i can find the same tank to set that up.

maintenance there is no real schedule just following my basic rules. and do what the tank tells me to do. and also equipment wise you do get what you pay for usually.

rodi water, refractometer, good salt are first steps.

good skimmer, constant temp, ATO for constant salinity, good flow are next.

then maintenance as what the tank needs, must test every few weeks unless conditions tell you to test sooner. Keep it clean of debris and detritus know what your feeding. and i only do water changes so far ONCE every month or two. While still testing and dosing accordingly.

its simple but complicated at the same time i know. not to say i havent lost a couple of different corals but over all success rate has been over 95% on everything on this tank.

thats great. i do like ur nano. its awesome, have u had problems with the no lid? my fire fish jumped out i think a while back, and thats with a hood. i want to get rid of algea, my leds are on their way so i should be able to keep better stuff, what i do like is you have a sump or refugium, which i dont, im gonna start doing a 5 gallon water change every month, i hadnt done one in 3 months, and now that i did everything is looking better. just need my leds PC's suck. need more cuc though atleast 10 snails and 10 crabs.

no problems with no lid so far. but yeah firefish are known jumpers. just keep on it, little by little it all helps, even fish only cant be just top off water i dont believe. and this coming from a guy that doesnt do water changes that often either. but that isnt necessarily my advice to others.

i dont do anything, luckily these havent moved around all that much. ive had one vanish before but yeah you cant control them, just provide them with good conditions. and hope for the best.

nope, thats why i offered, he would help your hair algae alot so it benefits you, i dont want to glue my frags and corals down yet and he knocks them over from time to time.

Lol I was looking into a scooter blennie so he eats hair algae? I think ill have a big bio load
2 clowns
1 royal gramma
1 mandarin
1 blue hippo
1 sailfin
1 Niger trigger
1 scooter blennie lol

I want a shrimp too

for your setup way to many fish prob. you have to have a little more success first before you just keep adding and adding. nanos are harder to keep than big tanks actually since they fluctuate more easily. but at the same time water changes and upkeep are easier since it it less strain and work load wise for a person.
