2nd hand Nano 3152 Only turns on right after I plug in

Purchased a used Nano ATO, cleaned it all up, and set it up. When I plug it in it looks like it primes correctly. turns on a pumps water for 1-2min.
However,
it never turns back on, I let it do its thing for 2 days, the water dropped about an inch and the ATO never kicked on. I manually played with it, and could not get it to pump water again either.

Is it shot or is there something I'm missing?

The Nano Osmolator uses a timer as a safety, I think what is happening is it is timing out, the factory timer setting is 1 min 45 seconds, this is for a system under 26 gallons, there is an optional 2 min 40 seconds limit for 26-55 gallons, the manual explains this under "Safety Timer". The float has to rise before this time out to reset the timer so it runs the next time. If it times out, the pump twitches as an alarm-
