2x 6201 For 230 Gallon reef?

I currently got 2x 6100 for my 880L (230g) reef with single controller only. (180cm x 70cm x 70cm)

I am planning to sell my old 6100's and get 2x 6201 + 7095 multicontroller and run interval 2 with 30% and 100% at 6 hours.

Or will 3 sec pulse (30% / 100%) be better for maximum flow? - What is the diffrence?

How does that sound Roger?

Hi Benny,

I would suggest keeping the 6100's and adding 2 x 6101 and 7095 this will give you the increased flow you are looking for and much more options with the 7095 multicontroller.

Either idea would work. I generally agree with Graeme but I can understand that 4 pumps is more to look at than 2.

I dont have space for 4 pumps, so i think i go for 2x 6201.

What settings will be the best?

Interval 1/2 or Pulse only?
