3 250 watt de evc bulbs 10k fs

ok anybody interested in 3 250 watt de 10k bulbs? i bought 1 week ago and they will not fire dependably on my icecap ballasts.they have seen about a total of 6 days each 8 hrs each day of use. i really like these bulbs they give a nice color and great par rating but they will not work with my ballasts. i believe i paid 69.00 each. i ordered them from ocean encounter and talked to vince they only will take the bulbs back if they are defective. they are not defective so i have to try and sell.if you are interested i am looking for 40.00 each. thanks

I've seen the CCT rating is nearly 5000k, what color did you experience out of these bulbs?

they were very bright white butt i have t5 actinics so the combo worked great. i switched to phoenix 14k not as good of a par rating but still not bad. they did shift a little white after 3 weeks.

I'm running the phoenix now. You like the phoenix color better than the EVC? The spectral plot of the EVC seems to indicate a much yellower bulb than the phoenix.

is it a good thing to show your kids pic on the internet. I seen alot here. One thing make her traget. some she does not know can walk up to her and start talking to her about reef and that he pickup something from you. And then she on the missing list. not to smart. to may come up missing . the internet the last place to have your kid pic. on
