3 beep alarm?

I have a Tunze Wave box and it was havding a "long" beep and the unit didnt operate. Cleaned he unit and now the unit spins, not sure fast enough, but there is a 3 beep alarm now instead of a steady beep when it operates.

Whats this mean?

Did you clean the pump using these directions? Note the bearing behind the impeller, it is often overlooked

The alarm generally indicates something is wrong the pump, the most common being what Shawn is referring to.

At first the "beep" was a constant tone and the unit did not operate. I cleaned the unit and it operated properly. However, the constant tone changed to a "beep, beep, beep". This occurring while the unit was out of the water. Once I submerged the unit the alarm stopped.

Running dry normally causes the alarm.
