3 days lights off

will an rbta survive if i turn off my lights for 3 days?
whatever light that goes in the tank will be ambient light from a 5x6ft window 25ft away.

Easily. There are plenty of "stormy" days in the ocean, when there is no light for several days.

Most do it for helping rid nuissance algaes and such.
3 days seems most common.
If you are going to do it, go all the way and cover tank(safely), no ambient light.
I would keep it at 3 days though.
