Porcupine puffer in a FOWLR tank killed every fish he could catch. A diamond back goby impossibly rearranged the sand eventually covering all corals on the sand until I fished him out, and an Eibli Angel that eventually killed every open brain or scoly I put in the tank. Thousands of dollars worth. Try as I might I can't get him out of the reef tank. My mistake was putting him in the tank in the first place and listening to those that said reef safe. The only problem I've had with a bicolor is that mine like to rest on or among the corals and damage them that way. They are supposed to be algae eaters but I haven't seen it.

What size tank was the porky in? They are known to be aggressive in confined spaces. In larger tanks 200g and above, I've heard they are model citizens.

My repeat offenders I'll never have again is a Hawaiian blue spot puffer, Kole tang, and any pseudo chromis. The chromis attacked fish 5 times his size. The Kole tang got super aggressive and attacked any other algae eaters in my tank. The puffer which I was told by my Lfs to be reef safe over 10 years ago, ate a $300 derasa clam I'd had for years. I'll never forgive him for that. Lol

The porcupine puffer was in an 80 gallon. Based on the above, probably too small a tank. Great personality though.
