3 Month Old Nanocube

Mojo Jojo

In Memoriam
Here is my tank as off today:D Looks better in person, but hey its a camera phone lol. It's been up for about 2-3 months, more like 2 months and 3 weeks. Yes it's still bare, but give the corals some time and yup they will fill up lol. Hopefully by then I can atleast have all my things for my other tank that I plan to slowly start. Any comments or suggestions are welcome!

Looks good Joe.
I dont see the frag I gave you :D

Jeff

There is a few zoas in the middle bottom and you can sort of see it in the back too. I have a bunch of different zoas around, but crappy camera wont pick them up lol.

The tank looks good, reminds me a lot of my nanocube. And your goal of a tank upgrade reminds me of my situation too ... probably the situation that a lot of us have had.

I'd take that xenia out.. you'll regret it later if you dont..

other then that, it looks really nice :D

The yellow polyps (next to the xenia) can get out of control too -

The cube looks great though! Keep it up

Do you think I atleast have 6 months before my tank is being run by xenias and those yellow polyps? Maybe by summer I have my stuff up and going. Most likely it will be after lol.

In my nanocube I put the xenia right up against the back wall and it eventually started growing onto the back wall. The I gave away the rock with the xenia on it.

Here's a pic of mine

I found mine grew faster on the rock (It grew so tall the stalks started bending over and dying) but it doesn't grow fast on the wall.

Great looking tank, you don't use the surface skimmer?

Yeah my xenia is splitting in four heads. It's only been like a month and bam!!! lol ... How do you get it out the rock? I dont like to use the skimmer box much. The sand sifting goby shakes all the sand in the morning and the box wont allow the tank to clear. He calms down when I give him shrimp at feeding time.

Find out of your Local place will buy them from you. I know of a few guys that have a pretty regular stream of Lunch Money from their Xenia sales.
