30" Lighting???

I'm setting up a 32gal Finnex M-Tank and want to replace the PC lighting. The tank is 30" wide and it seems that there are limited choices of lighting.

Sunpod is my first choice but would like to go with T5's, any out there???

Check out Pet Solutions , they are having a sale on T-5 fixtures , ( 36" length) , 2 10K'S , 2 Actinic, + moonlights. I have seen PC fixtures for a 30 " length tank , but not T-5 fixtures. ( YET ) For that odd size , I always have purchased the 36" length fixtures, they don't look bad, and you will have more options down the road if you decide to upgrade. peace.

Are you saying that you have used 36" lighting on a 30" tank?

I think the aquapod is 30" but I could be wrong, I know that finnex offers light accomadations with HQI's for thier aquariums you should look around thier page

Hey Grndhog.. Sure have.. Just due to the length of the bulbs, 36"vs 24"..I had a 20 long nano ( 30 length) with a 36 " PC fixture, and also a 29 fresh with a 36" NO bulb fixture.. In my humble opinion, always felt I was getting ripped with the 24" bulb in a 30"fixture!!! A freind on mine on here says that Premium Aquatics carries a T-5 fixture in 30" length. Check out the message boards; nothing but positive feedback on that vendor. Good luck... Peace
