The stand frame is sanded, primered, and painted. Adam1980 is standing next to tank on stand, hes 6'2", showing height of tank on stand. Spoke with Reef Aquaria Design and am ordering the limestone tiles for the back wall on Monday. I'm thinking that the limestone on the back will make maintenance alittle easier, no trying to keep back algae-free. Hopefully I'll get some coral growth there.

Thought I'd show everyone the tank Adam and I spent 18 hours driving to get. That and the 600lbs of live sand. The 135 gallon tank I was going to use as a sump was junk. It was a terraium that was pieced together and I'd NEVER use to hold water. Guess I'm using to 50 gallon tanks for sump/refugium combo. Thanks to SPSstoner for adam1980's tank and we had a great time meeting you, thanks!!

P.S. Thats a 200 gallon 4'x3' starfire front marineland tank, $4000 Drs F&S retail, BEAUTIFUL set-up!!! Lucky SOB, luv ya man, hahahaha

RO/DI recieved today, dual canister (6x18 & 6x24 ) calciim ractor system ordered, Limestone tiles for the back ordered. Getting there slowly but surely. I'll finish the stand this month, and hopefully light modules as well. Photos to come shortly.

New ASM G4X sitting next to the old G3. Apex controller ordered.

Unfortunately, found small circular scratches in the sanding of the tank, starting over on the sanding, arrggghh!

Stand build should be started nextweek

looking good.... my only concern is the cross braces on the stand, I would (and did) put more on my tank. I had the stand made & they spaced them 36-37in apart so I added one every foot.

Having the bottom of a acrylic tank sag is a very very bad thing....... my tank is 120x30x30

I was going to run 3/4" marine grade plywood underneaththe tank. That should handle any bowing problems. Also, the outer edges are all on the stand. Should I maybe go with placing some flat steel over the top?

New Apex controller with temp and ph probes ordered and shipped. A little change in plans as far as pumps. Going with 2 darts on the OM4's, but I'm going to add a dolphin 3000 on a CLS for small constant flow. That will give me about 10500 gph. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Everyone please note that I restarted this thread in the "Thomas' 300 gallon, 95%RC" thread. Please join me there, I cleaned up my act and can explain my recnt delay.
