300 gallon on order

I cannot express how HAPPY I am that his tank is finally in. Now, lets hope it doesn't take as long to set it up and get the other two tanks out of here. A 300-gallon tank is enough for this house. I am so looking forward to having my dining room back. Although I am sure that after the tank is all set up, Gary will get one to use as a frag tank (A very small one hopefully). There should be enough room in the storage room for a frag tank.. LOL

you're a chicken for not plumbing it yourself! :p :p :p

Cerreta, If it's one thing Gary is not good at, it is Plumbing ANYTHING!!!! He hates plumbing more than waking up for work in the mornings. Hee Hee

Anyone out there willing to help me lift a 300 gallon at about 5 pm today I know it is very short notice but I will make it worth your time. Gary 544-9357 call ASAP

That looks great Gary. The reflection of your other tanks kinda gives a preview of what's to come. :)
What size are those overflows? Is the tank drilled for closed loop?

The center divider on this tank is only 15 inches. The 240 I had was 24 inches I believe. This will make life a lot easyer when it comes to diving in to this baby.

Exhaust the hood hans to the ceiling, a short 6"duct and 90. would save a lot of heat and humidity into the room

This is a great Idea John but I think you will find with AC it gets really dry and it will be nice to put back some moisture back it to the air. This is to funny that this comes up because I was just talking to a guy at work who bought a new house with AC and said he when out and got a humidifier. I bet our humidifiers look alot nicer then his.LOL

Beautiful, Gary. My husband is still talking about how gorgeous that room is- you are very talented in many ways. With the tank up, it's really something. I may be able to talk him into a bigger tank after all...

Thank you. If you need any help talking your husband in to a larger tank let me know. It is worth all the hard work and money I love mine

Gary, it looks like I picked a good week to be up in Prescott. hehehe. How did all the plumbing work out? Any issues that still need tweaked? If so call me.

Your tank looks awesome!

BTW, I just saw the tank of Scott and Erin in Mesa yesterday, and I was very impressed. They used to black foam on the walls and some of the interior connecting pieces and only about 150 pounds (my guess) of LR. And the tank looks full of LR. Glad you kept all your LR?
Cheers

Wow, you did great, I still say theres something in that SV water, they all grow monster corals down there. How did you get that Cap without breaking a petal? You got enough chairs so everyone can sit theater style in front of the tank on the 4th
